As a courtesy to you, we are one of the only internet seafood companies that shows you the actual shipping costs without having to give us any information. Simply click "add to cart" on any item and a shipping calculator will show up. For example, if you want 10 pounds of steamers, you would click "Steamers by the pound", then "add to cart". Update the "quantity" in your shopping cart to 10, then put your zipcode in the shipping calculator and click "recalculate". This will be your actual price, with no hidden charges afterward.
We enourage you to add at least 2 different items to your shopping cart to get a better value. The first item you add will impose the base overnight shipping cost. Every item you add after that will only raise the shipping a few more dollars (it depends on the weight). Some of the shipping costs are built into the product, so if you don't spend more than $25.00, a $10.00 low order fee will be assesed.
Orders received by 11:00 am EST will be shipped on the same day (with the exception of Saturday, Sundays & Holidays). During the checkout process you will have the opportunity to select a different shipping day if you would like it on a specific day. Packages cannot be delivered on Sundays, Mondays, most holidays & the day after most holidays.
2nd Day deliveries are only available on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
We will waive the signature requirement, so you will not have to sign for it. If you are not planning to be home, please have a neighbor bring it in. FedEx will not ship to PO boxes. You may also have your seafood shipped to your work.
Remove seafood from box immediately and put in refrigerator. Keep seaweed or wet newspaper over lobsters in the refrigerator. Do not put live lobsters, clams or littlenecks in fresh water. Fresh water will kill them.
You will be charged an additional 15.00 if your order is to be delivered on a Saturday. Saturday delivery is not available in some remote locations. A special seafood shipping box is included with your order. This is actually a cooler inside of a box.
You are welcome to use your own UPS, FedEx or DHL Accounts. These orders must be phoned in.
In case of bad weather conditions we reserve the right to reschedule shipment of an order. Customers will be contacted to arrange alternative shipment date.
We are not responsible for packages arriving later than the time guaranteed by FedEx. If you are sending a package to someone as a gift, please let them know to expect the delivery, we are not responsible for packages that were left out in adverse weather conditions.
