Thank you, alot. The bushel of steamers arrived when and as expected. They smelt as I had hoped. They tasted as I remember they should (I was born in Maine)... I did miss the crunchy, gritty silt, but if you are going to clean the clams before you send them out...who am I to complain. My guests were mostly from the Northwest and when they had the first bite of what you provided; well, you should have seen the amazed looks on their faces. So, Thank you.
